Beloved Canadian iconoclastic rock band The Rheostatics did a week-long residency with One Yellow Rabbit Theatre during the annual High Performance Rodeo Festival of new and experimental theatre. They performed a different album each night and also helped celebrate the thriving Calgary music scene by hosting a guest vocalist night, inviting 16 prominent Calgary singers to join them on stage- each one choosing a Rheostatics song to perform with the band. Danielle was invited to join them during the encore and chose the song "One More Colour", a Jane Siberry song that the Rheos covered themselves on their album "Introducing Happiness". Danielle did her best Martin Tielli and rocked out with the boys. Future collaborations are in the works! Stay tuned...
